And you brag about newness? Shame.

It is impossible to cancel your ticket or get a refund. The app always has glitches, and says call customer service. Customer service is automated and says go to the app and hangs up. If you email them they send an automated email that has a case number but nobody contacts you. The email says you cant cancel over email. SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE AND USE ANOTHER APP!

Cleartrip is an absolute necessity if you want to book India Rail tickets but live outside the country. Ive successfully booked all 6 of my trains and have confirmed seats.

Customer service is poor and there seems to be no courtesy looking if there is a mistake committed especially by a new customer. Also the prices not accurate. When you book price changes and the app apologizes for the chage

I had to cancel a ticket while in India and when I tried to use my credit it absolutely would not work online and any attempt to reach a human through their "support line" was in vain. Now Im stuck with a credit, cant use it, and had to rebook with another online agency. MONEY LOST.

Cleartrip app makes it amazingly easy to book a flight ticket and move on. If you are a busy professional then this is the app you wanna get.

This app for iPad isnt full feature. There is no bus or train function. Therefore, it is useless to me.

Not only does the app do exactly what it advertises, I wholeheartedly respect the way in which they support Indias ongoing fight for Net Neutrality. I love the interface and the ux, this app doesnt up sell like its competitors. Them pulling out of Internet.org was just the cherry on top of the cake. Fantastic app with ethical business practices.

I made my first booking. Since the calendar goes from Mon to Sun (unlike iOS calendar and any other regular calendar that goes from Sun to Sat) without being clearly marked, I ended up booking my return ticket for two on incorrect dates (both onward and return). Further it marked the ticket refundable making it seem all flexible. Soon after I booked and got email, I learned the error. Called them back on their elite customer line and they said there is a Rs.2,250 per person per segment charge (adds up to Rs.9000) and there was no grace period or any concession for the mistake. After nearly an hour of my persistence, I got the supervisor to be open to calling the airline. He fudged that up too (was clearly doing it half heartedly) and only gave the airline one PNR for the booking while Cleartrip had broken my one ticket into two PNRs. He did not even mention the full story that it was a one hr old booking. Only when I jumped in and explained the situation, the airline gave me a goodwill refund except only for one PNR since thats all that Cleartrip had given him. Since there were multiple back and forths with the airline back end team due to incomplete information by the Cleartrip supervisor, I only got fee waived for half the ticket. In refunding that too, Cleartrip charged me a convenience fee! Cleartrip has miserably failed me, an elite customer for over 10 years. All started with app being too seamless for its own good, and apparently the fallen standards of service from Cleartrip at the call center. Buyer beware!!!

The new version is phenomenal. Clear trip is one company that is truly customer centric and their app interface reflects this! Way to go!

Just returned from India having used this app to book trains between Delhi, Agra, and Sawai Madopur using my USA credit card. Also used it to book domestic flights between Jaipur and Hyderabad and Mumbai to Delhi. It worked great usually. The app sometimes wasnt working correctly and we had to use the mobile website instead. Linking your IRCTC account took a couple of attempts and I had to create a new account in order to get it to work properly. Booking domestic flights was a snap and saved us many hours at local airports and train stations. Overall this is a good app and clearly is heading in the right direction with traveling more easily in India!

Poor. No more bookings thru Clear Trip. Will write my experience on trip advisor.

App wont let me cancel my ticket and they tell me to contact the airline for cancelations on a ticket they say is refundable only by them! ?

I found two faults with this app, one Is at the end of booking while making payments, it prompts up transection fails , second if you check the train time duration its horrible. If train takes 6 hours it shows 32 hours
